CARIMI: What's NEXT for each one of the musicians?

With the sad news regarding CARIMI, a lot of their fans, as well as others are asking....WHAT'S NEXT for the group members. KM will try to shed some light on that mystery for you.



*MICKAEL GUIRAND: With MICKAEL being the one who apparently did not want to continue performing with the band anymore BASED ON THE PRESS RELEASE, it's hard to see if the singer intends to pursue his career in the HMI. Not sure if I see Mickael going to another band or creating one of his own after all that he accomplished with Carimi. Maybe some appearances on STUDIO SONGS might be in the menu perhaps. A Suivre.

*CARLO VIEUX: He told us in his interview with us yesterday that he does not see himself continuing in another band UNLESS Richard Cave and Fito Farinen are involved. I see him producing music for other bands (He did for Karizma) IF the next chapter does not materialize in terms of him and Richard Cave teaming up again to create a new band. He is an avid POLITICS man, so maybe we see him pursue that avenue? Doing ok financially with investments made during his time in the group.

*RICHARD CAVE: He has music in his blood, so I see him going down the same path as Carlo Vieux...producing music in the studio for other bands/artists. Strong possibility for him to hook up with Carlo Vieux as well in a brand new group...something that many are hoping for IF they can't get the original Carimi back. After all that fame with CARIMI, does he want to start all over again with a NEW band on the HMI ladder? That might be a question to ponder. Doing ok financially with investments made during his time in the group.

*FITO FARINEN: Do we see Fito turning ENPOSIB into what CARIMI became? Does he have the DESIRE and DRIVE to go through that all over again? Other Carimi members are also down with him in ENPOSIB in terms of investment/management based on what we've been told. Or is BOSTON about to get ready to see FARINEN back in full force UPFRONT in the party promotion business? A Suivre.

*ALEX THEBAUD: All everyone keeps talking about is how close he is to T-Vice maestro Reynaldo Marino...but T-VICE already has a gong player which from what we gather is doing well and is ok in terms of attitude/discipline with the band. Are we to expect Alex Thebaud to make a switch to an NYC band; or maybe to another group like 5 LAN? A Suivre

*GLENNY BENOIT: THIS ONE IS INTERESTING. Is there a young upcoming band who is looking for a HIT MAKER and good guitar player on the market? Glenn would automatically elevate that group to another level...but the question is, have we lost the GLENNY BENOIT of KDANS days...because all he was happy with in Carimi, was to come and play on stage, get payed...and bounce. NOU PAT WE GLENNY "HIT MAKER" NAN CARIMI...so does he still have the skills to score hits for a new band, or a band already on the market?

*TI JOEL: Talented and young drummer, who also can pull in the ladies for any band that obtains his services. We are hearing 5 LAN on the streets, but I am sure that OTHERS will also try to obtain his services. Let's see what happens.

*JEFF CARIMI Bass: Talented player...does he move on to another band, or does he disappear from the scene like former Carimi favorite Noldy Cadet?

*TI MARCO CARIMI: What he will do next is anyone's guess. In due time we sure will find out.
