*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Eske DAT7 PASSE test AYITI a?
OLIVIER DURET: "We did our thing, the feedback has been VERY positive. The match up dat7 kreyolla had a good turn out, the people enjoyed themselves throughout the night and we definitely enjoyed ourselves on stage, the reaction was great. Se konsa and danrera had GREAT reactions, not surprised since they both have videos. At the end of our set, people came to tell us how surprisingly impressed they were with our playing. Kreyol la got on after us and KILLED it with a medley that got everyone on their feet. Overall it was a great night and just a little tease for what's to come."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: How much progress do you believe that you've made in that market based on that performance?
OLIVIER DURET: "I think we had a leap when it comes to progress because a lot of people believed that we would be just another soft Konpa band; but realized we had every element covered from soft, mid to hard Konpa. We work hard on trying to satisfy everyone so as they told me, they were pleasantly surprised."

Somehow, I seem to AGREE with you..
And also, why does the Guest have to open for the Established Host?
I don't get it at all.. :x :x

Oh! That too, you are so right. Why did they have to open for real?

The real test would be a summer tour on their own
as far as I am concerned, kreyol la was the main event for that show, Dat7 was jus a guest. Even Tjoe said it in an interview "menm moun ki la chak samedi yo se yo ki laa jodia"
was Tjoe throwing shades ?? I don't know
but my point is, nobody can rely on that night to evaluate if Dat7 pass the test or not, Ti tambour, Vlad, Ti Eddy, oli are superstars and people like them, but the group as a whole is not as hot.
I am still on the fence, let's wait and see

It's not that they're not as hot, they're not hot at all. Like you mentioned, KL was the main event for that night.
