that song "il est Friday" is doing what it was meant to do; to appeal to the younger crowds.
I can testify to that, this song is a hit in my car whenever my kids are riding to and from school. (on repeat), my favorite song this week is LOL
I would suggest to Klass to change the title of the CD to " plon gaye" or "tout moun jwenn"

LETS MAKE IT WORK- CHeri oui se pral sa net!!! (This part will work wonders in the bal scene). Mizik saa gen w bel Kadans all throughout the song. Makes you want too danse the whole time, instead of the usual wait for the groove to drop. You don't need a groove to move to this song. Though it could do without the English parts.

FÈ L AK TOUT KÈ W: I like "gen bagay ou pa aprann lè w granmoun, tankou filé fanm, monté bicyclete, sousé dwet!!!. All of these parts are very fun.

and PA FYÉ is just a fun song all the way. But I think ANMWE SEKOU is the most musically rich song on the album.

There's a process to the way I consume an album and I suspect a lot of people are the same way.

There are the songs that hit you right away-the instant hits. In this case, it was Ranje chita w and map marye...then I start to carefully explore other pieces for other potential hits, se ou sel mwen genyen (gad jan moun yo ap danse...woussh)..."Let's make it work". Ti pati "cheri wi se pral sa net la" bel anpilll....

then it's about personal favorites with meaningful lyrics and messages - Lajan Sere and anwe sekou are great!

Then there are the songs that'll do well live like, Fel ak tout kew, LOL-Pa Fiye and An piblik

Lastly, it's about the fun songs that hit just hit you upside the head on a delay for no particular reason. In this case for me, it's Il est Friday. I can understand why it's not some people's favorites, but that song is sooo much fun LYRICALLY...double entendres fe kenken nan chante sa...(the 3 most fun songs are Fel ak tout Ke w, Friday and LOL--Pa Fiye)

I'm not a member of "the best album ever" propaganda club (LOL), but this album is EXTREMELY well-written, well-arranged and well-balanced!
