CD seller/musician EDY BRISSEAUX gives us the latest in terms of CD Sales world. READ BELOW THE PICTURE!
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: 1) Ki CD kap mache plus nan RED TRUMPET la ses jours si?
BRISSEAUX: "Ou konnen Deja, Klass la resusite business lan. The business was dying; Klass has injected some new blood. This has occured at the right time. The economy seems to improve slighty; and Zenglen that could have had a similar effect...failed to promote their product; thus, Klass did it again!"
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: 2) How is the sale of the KLASS CD compared to when the 1st CD came out?
BRISSEAUX: "Now, Klass is an established entity as opposed to three years ago. They have a sound synchronized operation, their stock value has increased; consequently, the buzz is far greater! The cd came out at the propitious time, nothing else on the market!"
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: 3) What's the song that you put on from the KLASS CD to try and SELL the CD if a customer asks you to LISTEN first?
BRISSEAUX: "2, 5, 6,7. They are "Map Marye", "Ranje Chitaw", "Let's Make it work", and "Anmwe Sekou"
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: 4)How is the ZENGLEN CD doing in your neck of the woods?
BRISSEAUX: "If i am not mistaken, I mentioned this to you already. The customers are wiser nowadays they do make the difference between Klass and Zenglen Cds both harmonically and rhythmically! Thus Zenglen is still selling hard! You will not believe it, Skah Shah System, Etcera, are all selling very well!"
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: 5)Which ZENGLEN song do you put on to try to sell the CD if a customer asks you to listen to it?
BRISSEAUX: "Don't recall the track numbers, but I would say the one about the 18-girl who is brassing... no one knows what she does and pi Devan something like that!"
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: 6) How is the KREYOL LA selling?
BRISSEAUX: "Somehow slower...but still selling. The business in general was in Hibernation!"
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: 7) How is the JBEATZ selling?
BRISSEAUX: "Not bad but everyone says it is the "Minm ti bagay yo""
