*KOMPA MAGAZINE: You have critics who complain that certain bands serve them BOUYON RECHOFFE on CDS. What do you say about that? If you are a band and something works for you, it's your right to come back with what got you success...right? Or is it a duty to cook up something fresh and new for the fans? We've heard people say that about JBEATZ and KLASS cds.

I don't know why some refuse to admit it... but every band have a signature sound.

since the beginning of konpa it's been like that.

and it is true not just in music, it's in every aspect of like. People don't tend to deviate too much from what works. You may experiment a bit, but only a little bit at a time.

But having a certain style, or formula doesn't mean that you are giving me the same exact thing over and over again.

That's where I think a lot of people get things confused.

An example off the top of my head is Richie and Arly when it comes to love songs.

YOu can probably jump from song to song singing Arly's loves songs without even realizing it. They sound to similar. Even the format of the songs are exactly the same.

RIchie's love songs are not that similar, even though it is clear they are coming from the same producer.
