*KOMPA MAGAZINE: "Mayi Fret pa sal Asyet". What was the meaning of that phrase on your shirt the other day?
T-KLOD: "Hey Pat whats up!! Well the shirt was made by Nodrant Le Chacha, Xtassy's drummer. He will be coming out with his brand "LēCHA" soon, which will be more or less a promo of the kreyol language by putting old haitian sayings, kreyol slogans and his own slogans on shirts. But to answer your question, "Mayi fret pa sal asyet " basically means that negativity will never overpower positivity. The negativity is represented by the "Mayi" (ki gou nan bouche ) and the "Asyet" is simply your positive energy, which can't be stained by the "graisse mayi"
